Tasty Chef Store Status

What Steam lists today — without pretending a trailer is a YouTube ID we do not have.

Store Status

This page is the dated store desk for Tasty Chef as of 6 September 2026. Xpercent Games is the developer and publisher. The full Windows game is app 5019920. The free demo is app 5067140. Steam lists a September 2026 window and Coming Soon for the full product. There is no listed price. The boxed game is upcoming. This wiki still treats that product as upcoming, not as a title you can buy today.

For how to install the slice, use demo and playtest. For the calendar tone, use release date. Official URLs sit on Steam.

What changed this week

Steam published the milk tea demo on 5 September 2026 (about 17:08 UTC). That is the practical news. The public branch build was stamped the same afternoon. Players can download the Current Shop kitchen and learn tickets, staff duties, and Build Mode. The day after publication, Steam charts showed about 114 players in the demo and a peak of 124 concurrent players on 6 September 2026. Those numbers are a snapshot, not a promise.

SteamDB lists the Windows demo depot at about 1.10 GiB on disk (about 959 MB download). The install folder is Tasty Chef Demo. The launch executable is TastyChef.exe. Detected technologies include Unity Engine, Epic Online Services, Unity Multiplayer Services, and SteamworksNET. Comfort tags and pad caveats sit on comfort and input.

Steam last touched full-game store assets on 6 September 2026, including an editions comparison graphic. There is still no listed price and no purchase button. Bakery and Sushi Restaurant remain under construction on the Tasty Town map. Store screenshots of conveyor sushi are still preview, not a second demo floor.

The playtest module on the main app page still uses Request Access. That is not a public code drop. Acceptance is a Steam notify if the developer wants more testers. We will not invent keys. No Steam news posts for app 5019920 showed up in this check.

Trailer and YouTube

The Steam page hosts a trailer titled Tasty Chef EA Trailer (about two minutes in the store player). It is a Steam-hosted movie, not a YouTube watch page we can quote with a public video ID. This wiki does not invent YouTube IDs. When Xpercent Games or a creator uploads a real Tasty Chef (app 5019920) video, we will embed at most one per article, mid-page. Until then, watch the trailer on the Steam store.

Older mobile games also named Tasty Chef exist. They are not this Steam sim. Do not follow a 2018 Pixio trailer and think it is Xpercent Games.

Languages on the two app pages

Full game store table (12): English, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese.

Demo listing also includes Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Thai.

This wiki ships English, French, German, and Spanish. Wiki language is not a promise that the boxed full game already includes Spanish. Recheck both Steam tables after a localisation patch.

What we will edit next

  • Date window moves off September 2026.
  • A public YouTube ID for the EA trailer or a real gameplay video of this app.
  • A Current Shop flip for bakery or sushi.
  • A listed price.
  • A Steam Deck result.

Until those happen, play the milk tea demo, keep the guides hub open, and wishlist 5019920 if you want the window ping. This page is a status card, not a rumor mill. If Steam and this card disagree, Steam wins, then we edit here the same day.
