Match Steam’s Windows lists before you install the milk tea demo.
Tasty Chef is a Steam Windows game from Xpercent Games. This page copies the store hardware table and then explains what those numbers mean for the milk tea demo. It is not a promise that every laptop in the min column will feel smooth during a four-body co-op rush. Check the live Steam store page if a row here and a row on Steam ever disagree.
The full game is upcoming with a planned September 2026 window. Steam has not listed a price. Do not treat this spec sheet as a buy guide for a product you cannot purchase yet. The live demo depot is about 1.10 GiB on disk (about 959 MB download) as of 6 September 2026. Keep the 3 GB floor as Steam wrote it; the depot size is the practical number for the current slice.
If you are under any of those lines, do not spend an evening blaming staff pathing. Upgrade or borrow a box that clears the floor. 4 GB RAM is the number people ignore, then wonder why a Stock Alert hitch stutters the whole HUD.

Recommended is not a flex column. It is the row to aim at if you want to run co-op, keep Build Mode grid overlays on, and leave Steam overlay recording in the background. The jump from 3 GB to 6 GB of disk is a reminder that the demo slice and the later restaurants will not stay tiny.
Platform, Deck, and controller
- Windows only on the current store table. There is no macOS or Linux line to quote.
- Steam Deck compatibility is Unknown. Do not buy a Deck for Tasty Chef on the strength of this wiki. Recheck Steam’s Deck tab before a handheld session.
- Partial Controller Support is listed, with Xbox controllers as a category. That is not a verified full bind map. Keep a mouse for Build Mode. Confirmed letter keys in screenshots are G for Grid and H for Equipment Info — details live in controls.
Camera Comfort, Custom Volume Controls, Adjustable Difficulty, and Save Anytime appear as accessibility / quality-of-life tags on Steam. Use them. A cozy kitchen sim does not require you to fight the camera.
Steam Cloud and Family Sharing
Steam lists Steam Cloud. Treat that as cloud saves for supported progress once the product is in a state Steam can sync. Do not assume a demo save is guaranteed to transfer into the full game; Steam has not promised a carry-over. Play the demo to learn systems, not to bank a permanent empire. Steam lists Family Sharing as a store category. The game is unreleased, so sharing does not apply yet. SteamDB and similar trackers often flag an unreleased exclusion. Languages on the store tables
The full game store table currently lists interface languages: English, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Traditional Chinese, and Vietnamese. That is twelve languages. The demo listing also includes Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Thai.
Do not promise in-game Spanish for the full game as confirmed. Say the demo listing includes Spanish; the full game store table currently lists the twelve languages above. AI disclosure (development, not gameplay)
Steam’s disclosure states that generative AI was used in development for art and music, reviewed by the developer. Gameplay does not generate AI content. Practical PC checklist
- Confirm 64-bit Windows. 32-bit is a hard no.
- Compare your CPU name to i5-9500T / Ryzen 5 2600H. Laptop suffix letters matter; a much older i5 is not “close enough.”
- Open Task Manager and read RAM. 4 GB is minimum; 8 GB is the rec line.
