Tasty Chef Updates

Tasty Chef is upcoming. Xpercent Games lists a September 2026 Steam window for the full Windows game. This hub is the date-and-demo desk, not a patch-note novel. There is no live seasonal event calendar to reprint, and this wiki will not invent one. When Steam edits Coming Soon, the spec table, or the demo module, the child pages below are the first files we change.

What “updates” means before a full launch

Players search for patch notes, codes, and a version number. For an unreleased Steam title those searches bounce. Honest updates look like this:

• Store copy changes (Coming Soon, date window, language table, spec rows).
• Demo module changes (Steam published the demo on 5 September 2026; the slice can still grow or shrink).
• Playtest waves (Request Access on the main app page — not a public code drop).
• Screenshot and trailer swaps that reveal a shop you still cannot select as Current Shop.

If a creator posts a “launch day” thumbnail, check this hub before you rearrange your week. A Steam window is a window. It can slide. The guides hub will still teach milk tea if the month moves; this hub will record the move.

Suggested reading order

1. Release date — planned September 2026, no listed price, Windows only, what Family Sharing and Steam Cloud mean while the product is unreleased.
2. Demo notes — Milk Tea Shop only, missing recipes, playtest versus demo, how to send a bug.
3. Store status — what Steam lists this month, trailer hosting, no invented video IDs.

Facts this hub will not blur

• The full game is not something you can purchase today. Steam has not listed a price.
• This wiki describes the full game as upcoming or coming soon. We will not write as if the boxed product is on sale.
• The demo is a separate app (5067140). The full game is app 5019920. Mixing those IDs is how people install the wrong thing and then argue in comments.
• Co-op is listed as online multiplayer on Steam. That is a store tag, not a patch that “added co-op last Tuesday.”
• Generative AI was used in development for art and music, reviewed by the developer. Gameplay does not generate AI content. That disclosure is a store fact, not a patch note.

How we timestamp a change

When Steam changes a date, we edit release date the same day we notice. When the demo module adds a shop or a recipe, we edit demo notes and then grep the guides so kitchen pages do not contradict the slice. We do not bump “updated” stamps just because a page was regenerated. If you need a support email or the community hub, use support instead of waiting for a patch article that does not exist yet.

What to do while you wait

Waiting is not empty. Run the milk tea demo. Shrink the board with the menu planner. Rebuild the corridor with the kitchen flow planner. Decide whether you want friends on ice and toppings via co-op or a quieter floor via solo. Wishlist the full game on Steam so the September 2026 window can ping you if Valve and Xpercent Games keep that month.

If you only open one child page from this hub, make it demo notes when you already have the slice installed, and release date when someone is asking you “when does it come out” in a group chat. That question deserves a careful sentence, not a fake calendar icon.
