Rank shops, drinks, and duties without treating announced kitchens as open.
Tasty Chef rankings are spending ranks, not fan-power ranks. You cook and you manage. Gold, daily wages, and walking time are the three things you can actually run out of. Xpercent Games is targeting a September 2026 Steam launch on Windows. Steam lists a free demo of the Milk Tea Shop. This hub exists so you do not spend that demo gold as if sushi belts, bakery ovens, and pizzeria decks were already marked Current Shop on your Tasty Town map.
Read the child lists in this order: restaurants, recipes, staff, then equipment. A shop you cannot enter is never S-tier. A drink you have not practiced is not S-tier. A staff card with no duty order is not S-tier, no matter the SSR tag.
What S, A, and B mean here
- S — You can run it in the milk tea demo, and it pays for a normal shift without a gimmick layout.
- A — The UI is real, but it is easy to overbuy: extra toppings, extra rarity, extra machines off the walking line.
- B — Announced in Steam copy, key art, or an under-construction pin. Useful for planning. Useless for tonight’s gold.
We do not invent extra recipes, extra playable shops, or extra duties. If an official screenshot did not show the control, it is not on these lists. That honesty is the whole point of a pre-launch wiki.
Restaurant types
The restaurant types list is the map-honesty page. Milk Tea Shop is the starting venue and the only Current Shop in the demo. Tasty Town also shows Hiring Agency (Recruit Staff), Style Boutique (Change Appearance), Town Bank (Gold to Town Funds), Bakery (under construction), and Sushi Restaurant (under construction). The full Steam page talks about a sushi conveyor and a bakery. The demo page also mentions pizzerias. Key art shows a burger shop. Until a pin reads Current Shop on your map, treat that kitchen as announced.
That ranking tells you where to stand: inside the milk tea corridor. Preview sushi machines so you are not surprised later. Do not pre-place a rice cooker in the tea shop.
Recipes and menu
The recipes and menu page ranks four Set Menu drinks: Milk Tea (tea plus milk), Matcha Milk Tea (matcha plus milk), Lemon Black Tea (tea plus lemon), and Coconut Milk (coconut plus milk). Ice can be Off or Custom. Toppings shown are Boba, Jelly, Red Bean, Coconut Jelly, Chia Seeds, and Pudding. Maximum toppings go from 0 to 3. Practice exists for a reason. A +60% bonus on that screen is a warning: a focused menu prints more than a noisy one.
Staff roles
The staff roles list ranks the three numbered duties: Take Orders, Make & Serve Drinks, and Restock Supplies. Rarity tags seen in shots are R, SR, and SSR. Species seen include deer, bear, beaver, koala, sheep, and red panda, plus cats, raccoons, and penguins on the floor. Cards show daily wage, upgrade gold, Level Move Bonus, Restock per Trip, Mistakes per Drink, Tips, Movement Speed, and Team Rhythm. Shop Team versus Reserve matters. A screenshot with 38 of 38 assigned seats is a late kitchen, not a tutorial.

When we will re-rank
We re-rank when Tasty Town changes a pin from under construction to Current Shop, when Set Menu gains a drink we can screenshot, or when a new duty appears on the staff card. We will not re-rank because a trailer showed a burger. Trailers are not Current Shop.
If you only open one child page, open restaurant types so you stop waiting for sushi during a milk tea shift. Then open recipes and menu so the bonus stays intact. Then open staff roles so wages do not eat the machine budget. Then open equipment so conveyor belts stay out of the tea shop.
Tasty Chef is not Roblox. There are no codes or scripts on this wiki. The wiki index and the guides hub point at systems you can actually press in the build Steam lists today. Come back to this hub when a shop pin flips; until then, S-tier is the tea line you can walk.

Will these ranks change at the September 2026 launch?
Yes, if new Current Shops, drinks, or duties appear. Until then we only rank what Steam and official shots show.
